I work with complex needs and learning disabilities schools, for young people with autism aged 11 to 19. Supporting their sensory needs and behavioural and emotional regulation management within a music therapy approach
I currently facilitate an adult music therapy group, which is social prescribing community service for adults with mental health conditions. Group music therapy utilises music as a platform for communication, facilitating successful social interaction and personal growth.
I’m a motivated music therapist with a passionate commitment to mental health and working with young people and adults within mental health, recovery and rehabilitation.
I have worked with trauma patients and behavioural disorders, EUPD, with a range of clinical experiences in providing therapeutic interventions in a mental health and educational setting.
I am committed to working with young people with behavioural disorders and emotional regulation and continuing research to gain more understanding when working with young people and ADD, ADHD and ASC.
