My approach

I work within a psychodynamic framework, holistically, with a person and music centred approach. During our sessions you will have the opportunity to be expressive and communicate musically with a wide variety of musical instruments, through improvisational music making, song collaboration, singing and listening.

Individual therapy

I work individually with clients, creating active music experiences to support meaningful relationships, improve quality of life, well-being, and support personal growth.

Young people and adults

I work with both young people and adults using music as a platform for communication, facilitating successful social interaction and personal growth and well being.

Special educational needs and disabilities

I work with complex needs and learning disabilities schools, for young people with autism aged 11 to 19. Supporting their sensory needs and behavioural and emotional regulation management within a music therapy approach

Group therapy

Group music therapy utilises music as a platform for communication, facilitating successful social interaction, personal growth and well-being. I am experienced working in groups with young people, adults, complex needs and learning disabilities.

Mental health

I’m a motivated music therapist with a passionate commitment to mental health and working with young people and adults within mental health, recovery and rehabilitation.

Trauma

I have worked with trauma patients and behavioural disorders, EUPD, with a range of clinical experiences in providing therapeutic interventions in a mental health and educational setting.

Behaviour disorders

I am committed to working with young people with behavioural disorders and emotional regulation and continuing research to gain more understanding when working with young people and ADD, ADHD and ASC.

I work at SEN specialist provision complex needs and learning disabilities schools, for young people with autism aged 11 to 19.
